Write a letter to parents (and other adults) OR to educators about the benefits of reading aloud

Note1: I didn’t indicate the spacing for the paper. It should be 1.5 or double spaced. Note

2: You’ll need to draw on at least 2 or 3 of our sources. Everyone will definitely need to explicitly draw on (be in dialogue with) the course materials that are mentioned for each option.

Note 3: Clarifying Sources for Options 1 and 6: About Option 1: I didn’t specify which course materials need to be engaged with. You’ll definitely need to draw on Gurdon’s text plus at least one or two of our other sources that help in developing your claims.

Note 4: You’re welcome to draw on additional outside sources. However, everyone must engage with our course materials.
 1. Write a letter to parents (and other adults) OR to educators about the benefits of reading aloud. Make sure to discuss the neurological, the social and the emotional benefits as well as the contributions it makes for those engaged in reading together.

In order to complete my paper assignment, I have selected option 1, which declares the following: Write a letter to parents (and other adults) OR to educators about the benefits of reading aloud. I’ll talk about the advantages of reading aloud to kids for their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. I’ll also talk about how reading aloud encourages interaction and connections between kids, adults, and carers. As a mother, I believe it is crucial to talk about this topic because so many other people are unaware of the advantages and significance of reading aloud to our children. In order to compose my paper, I’m going to draw on three sources from the course materials:

1.  The Enchanted Hou by Gurdon,

 2. TEDtalk “Can A Children’s Book Change the World?” by Linda Sue Park.
