By the end of your research, you will have gained sufficient knowledge to be a \u201csubject matter expert\u201d on your assigned condition. Criteria for the assignment are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Two to three pages (excluding reference pages).<\/li><li>A minimum of&nbsp;<strong>two&nbsp;<\/strong>sources; sources must include&nbsp;<strong>one&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/altierus.libguides.com\/c.php?g=775768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Medical Assistant Libguide&nbsp;(Links to an external site.)<\/a>&nbsp;<strong>source&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>and one book or medical dictionary<\/strong>.<\/li><li>A PowerPoint slide presentation that is a minimum of 7 slides in length, summarizing your findings and opinions of the topic.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plagiarism is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course project is broken into four parts. Please review the &#8220;To Dos&#8221; on the right to see what you will be completing each week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Dos:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Week 1: Topic and Research&nbsp;<\/li><li>Week 2: Rough Draft and Reference List<\/li><li>Week 3: Final Paper Submission&nbsp;<\/li><li>Week 4: PowerPoint Submission<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Week 1: Topic and Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To complete this portion of the course project, use Microsoft Word. Prepare a document that includes the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You will need to find a topic or a topic will be given to you by your instructor on one of the conditions related to the current module. You may also choose a topic related to the current conditions for the module. For citation guidelines, please refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/altierus.libguides.com\/c.php?g=755600&amp;p=6543325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Writing Tools&nbsp;(Links to an external site.)<\/a>&nbsp;page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit this part of the course project by the end of Week 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Week 2 &#8211; Rough Draft and Reference List<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, you will create a rough draft of your final paper. You will also attach a reference page listing the proposed sources. The paper requires a minimum of two sources.
