When applying for jobs, timing is both essential and something you can\u2019t always predict. Therefore, having a foundational resume and cover letter that you can add to and make any job-specific adjustments can save you time and ensure you are prepared for a surprise job opening or tip. You want to be ready to provide these two items prior to job application deadlines and upon immediate request during the networking process.
