The Value-Added Estimates and Evaluation Ratings of Teachers with a Graduate Degree.&#8221;&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Education Finance and Policy<\/em>&nbsp;14, No. 4 (2019): 652\u2013678.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each critique should be approximately<strong>&nbsp;3-4 double spaced pages<\/strong>, with the full citation of the article included.&nbsp;&nbsp;The following components of each critique are recommended:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A general summary of the article<\/li><li>Appropriateness of and\/or need for the research problem and\/or issue and purpose of the study (is there a strong rationale for the study?)<\/li><li>Clarity and quality of the literature review used in framing the study and contribution of the study to theory<\/li><li>Clarity and appropriateness of the research design<\/li><li>Results that are clearly connected to both the study design and to the larger scholarly literature<\/li><li>The degree to which the conclusions are derived from the study findings<\/li><li>Contribution of the study to practice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Critique format may follow either American Psychological Association (APA) publication format (most recent edition) or the format included in the most recent edition of the&nbsp;<em>Chicago Manual of Style&nbsp;<\/em>(this is student choice because both publication styles are found among education finance journals).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subsequent to the submission of the critiques, you will be asked to provide&nbsp;<strong>written peer feedback<\/strong>&nbsp;to one other student&#8217;s critique submission.&nbsp; Please use the both the bulleted points included in this description and the critique evaluation rubric to guide your feedback.&nbsp; The feedback should be minimum 200 words.&nbsp; Please try to be as constructive and helpful as possible.&nbsp; The instructor will complete the rubric and provide the numerical score for the critique, independent of the peer feedback.&nbsp;The peer feedback will constitute 20 percent of the critique score.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Title Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please include a title page for all submitted critiques and projects to include your name, the class number and title, the title of the project, and the date submitted.
