The goal of a rhetorical analysis is to investigate how a particular artifact is using rhetoric to appeal to and\/or influence an audiencein order toachieve a purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are to select a piece that was composed for an audience, identify that audience, and analyze the methods which the composer used to appeal to that audience. Primary source selections include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>published texts (2-4 pages)<\/li><li>web texts (7-14 paragraphs)<\/li><li>web videos or audio recordings (2-5 minutes)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This analysis might require inference.
