Remember that your audience&nbsp;is the general public, not health care experts, so be sure to target your message appropriately.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to address all of the following in your presentation:&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Introduction and Opening&nbsp;(1 slide).&nbsp;<ul><li>\u200bHow can you open your presentation in a way that engages your audience?&nbsp;Consider some eye-opening statistics, a compelling quote, or a challenging question.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\u200bThe Triple Aim Model (2\u20133&nbsp;slides).<ul><li>What is the Triple Aim?<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>What are its goals?\u200b<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>HIM and the Triple Aim&nbsp;(3\u20134 slides).<ul><li>Why is the Triple Aim model relevant to the health information management workforce?<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>What is HIM&#8217;s role in the Triple Aim?<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>How specifically can HIM contribute to the Triple Aim&#8217;s goals?<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The Affordable Care Act and the Triple Aim (3\u20134 slides).<ul><li>In what ways does the ACA&nbsp;<em>support&nbsp;<\/em>the achievement of the Triple Aim&#8217;s goals?<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>In what ways does the ACA&nbsp;<em>hinder&nbsp;<\/em>the achievement of the Triple Aim&#8217;s goals?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>How effectively does the ACA address all parts of the Triple Aim?<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Closing (1 slide).<ul><li>\u200bWhat are the one or two main ideas you would like your audience to take away from your presentation?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Q and A.<ul><li>\u200bProvide two starter questions with responses.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In your speaker notes, be sure to include specific examples to support the points you are making. You will also want to include citations and references to current&nbsp;scholarly and\/or authoritative sources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PowerPoint presentation:&nbsp;10\u201315 slides with speaker notes and voice-over narration.&nbsp;Balance visuals with text.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Font and font size:&nbsp;Use Times New Roman; select appropriate font size and weight for presentation, generally 24\u201328 points&nbsp;for headings and no smaller than 18 points for bullet-point text.<\/li><li>APA: Provide APA-formatted citations and references for resources.
