Task: With reference to the literature on educational reform, critique two aspects of Educational Transformation Jamaica; the introduction of a National Education Inspectorate (NEI) and the National Standards Curriculum (NSC). This critique should consider the factors which led to this reform initiative, the steps taken to implement the two aspects under critique and the extent to which these two aspects of the overall reform initiative have resulted in any noticeable change in the Jamaican educational landscape. The critique should also make reference to the extent to which this educational reform effort is responsive to and seeks to integrate the concept of ESD within the educational system.
