Your paper should be 3-4 pages in length.<strong>NOTE: 2- 3 PAGES IS FINE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you prepare, here are a few reminders for this week&#8217;s draft:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In week 3 you posted a thesis for peer review. Use the revised thesis, based on your classmates&#8217; and teacher&#8217;s feedback as the basis for your persuasive paper.<\/li><li>Use your sources to support your thesis. Research and prepare the passages you will consider using. Remember to review methods of paraphrasing, summarizing, and using direct quotations.<\/li><li>Prepare the body paragraphs by deciding where to place supporting information. Remember, each paragraph of the paper should act to build the momentum of the argument.<\/li><li>Apply&nbsp;<strong>pathos<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>logos<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>ethos<\/strong>&nbsp;whenever possible.<\/li><li>Finally, remember that it&#8217;s okay if your ideas, opinions, or sources change during process of writing this paper. Writing makes us think, and it&#8217;s fine &#8211; even beneficial &#8211; to have our thoughts change as we express them on paper.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your completed assignment by following the directions linked below. Please check the&nbsp;<strong>Course Calendar<\/strong>&nbsp;for specific due dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document. (Mac users, please remember to append the &#8220;.docx&#8221; extension to the filename.) The name of the file should be your first initial and last name, followed by an underscore and the name of the assignment, and an underscore and the date.
