We are on our way to creating a Staff Handbook that you can use when you become the Director or Owner of your center. &nbsp;A Staff Handbook is a&nbsp;<strong>must<\/strong>&nbsp;for every center &#8211; and the items we put into our Handbook should be clear, concise and ready to use. &nbsp;Let&#8217;s get started!In this Module you will find the following:1) The instructions for&nbsp;<strong>Creating your Staff<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Handbook<\/strong>.&nbsp;This will be your capstone, final project for this semester.&nbsp;&nbsp;As you have quite a bit to read and to help you focus on your project, I have kept the other assignments to a minimum.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>HOWEVER<\/strong>, do not take this as a time to slack off!&nbsp; Instead, use this week to begin gathering your thoughts for this capstone project and\/ or start writing.&nbsp; These types of Handbooks take an enormous amount of time and getting started NOW will really&nbsp;pay off in the end.&nbsp; Please remember, too,&nbsp;<em>that 20% of your grade is for this capstone proje<\/em>ct&#8230;that is the difference between an A and a C or a B and a D.2)&nbsp;A multitude of ideas and samples of existing Staff Handbooks which you can read and gain ideas from for your use.3)&nbsp;Five Weblinks for you to read and gather ideas on what you can and should include in your center&#8217;s Staff Handbook4) One Discussion Forum &#8211; your thoughtful response to my prompt is due Tuesday, May 31st (because of Memorial Day), by 6:00pm and thorough and complete reflections to two classmates by Wednesday, June 1st.&nbsp;Do Well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>https:\/\/hr.blr.com\/<br>https:\/\/www.thebalance.com\/<br>https:\/\/www.minnesotanonprofits.org\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>https:\/\/www.elinfonet.com\/<br>https:\/\/www.elinfonet.com\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Instructions for Module 3Welcome to Module 3!
