For this week\u2019s assignment, you will reflect on the memory strategies involved in a particular task. The most obvious is studying for an exam but you could reflect on anything that requires significant effort to learn\/recall something new. You might consider grocery shopping (without a written list), providing treatment instructions to a patient, relaying to a friend what you did on your vacation, learning\/remembering how to drive somewhere new (or any other memory-demanding task).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In general, you will discuss the role of memory in your task, identifying any weakness or problems in the way that you do it and, changes you might make that might improve the process. In your reflection you must discuss the role of at least 6 of the concepts listed below; it should be clear in your reflection that you understand a) what each concept means and b) its role in the activity that you are discussing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reflection should be approx. 300 words long \u2013 shorter than this and you are unlikely to fully address each of your selected concepts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
