Will the 2024 CPA exam improve quality of new CPA practioners?

My Term papers is meant to resolve a controversy and presesnt arguments on why i think one side of the controversy is corret rather than the other side. I MUST STATE AND RESOLVE MY CONTROVERSY RATHER THAN MERELY DISCUSSING THE ISSUE. if only content is discussed i will fail the paper.

Citation: Use proper reference citations. E.g., (use Doe [2022, p. 25] and proper referencing page citation, rather than use: Joe Doe,

Ph.D., CPA, Professor of Accounting at XYZ University wrote on page 25 in The CPA Journal.)

my topic is:  will the 2024 CPA exam improve the quality of the new CPA practioners?

Now using this topic my paper should: State the problem.

Eg this paper opposes that the 2024 cpa will improve the quality of New CPA practioners.

2. Discuss the content of this item. E.g., in 2024 the CPA Exam will evolve from four exams covering

Auditing & Attestation, Business Environment & Concepts, Financial Accounting & Reporting, and

Regulation to three sections covering Business Analysis and Reporting, Information Systems and

Controls, and Tax Compliance and Planning. Candidates must then pass a specialized Exam covering

Business Analysis and Reporting, Information Systems and Controls, or Tax Compliance and Planning.

3. Use GOOGLE SCHOLAR and other tools to find references on both sides of this issue.

4. Show why you favor “your side” of this controversy, e.g., why this is a good idea.

5. Show some problems of the “other side” of the controversy and possibly refute them. E.g., those who

say that the new exam fees are too expensive ignore the long-term salary increases from becoming CPAs.

6. If possible, synthesize some good and bad points of these ideas. E.g., perhaps the AICPA can provide

scholarships for those who cannot afford the increased exam fees.

7. Develop a conclusion.

While you need not perform all seven of these steps to earn a high grade, you must state and resolve your

controversy rather than merely discuss this issue. A paper that merely discusses the content of the new

CPA exam will likely earn a grade below Ct.
