We will continue our week 5 discussions by looking at an article/reading by John Paul Lederach, “The Challenge of Terror.”  Download “The Challenge of Terror.”  Lederach is an expert in the academic field known as “peacebuilding” and has worked around the world to help resolve many long-running and deeply entrenched conflicts. He was traveling back from peacebuilding work in Columbia and Guatemala on 9/11, so he was stuck in airports because air travel had been grounded. This article, written in various airports, presents his initial reflections after the attacks.
