Week 1 Assignment: Social Problems

  2. Watch one video that interests you.
  3. Submit a one- to two-page paper in which you answer the following questions: 
  • What is the title of the video you watched?
  • What is the social problem indicated in the video? 
  • What are some of the reasons sociologists are looking at this issue?  How does the issue affect society? 
  • Identify some of the research methods used in the video. 
  • How does the video illustrate the sociological perspective?
