Topic 1: LGBTQIA

As a future school counselor, student affairs professional, higher education administrator, or coach identify school and community barriers as well as strengths related to LGBTQIA.  What policies, procedures, programs, and/or practices would you advocate to address academic, career, and personal/social needs of students who identify as LGBTQIA?  Please include empirically based research and evidence-based practices noted in the literature to answer this question effectively.

Topic 2: Persons with Disabilities

Discuss the challenges and strengths of individuals with disabilities and identify how you would advocate for students with disabilities whose needs are not being met.
