Papers will be written in reference to the areas of child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, drug- affected, and single parent families headed by females as they relate to the current trends in family preservation services and current policies. Students should discuss the value of culturally sensitive services and how the services are delivered . The paper should conclude with a summary of the nature of the client-worker relationship and social work practice with families compared to traditional practice models The presentation , should be creative, informative , and appropriate for a college course and should not exceed 10 pages. Students are required to include issues as they affect the professional’s role and the agency’s role, including skills needed to advocate for policies that advance social well-being.
