Step 2Arrange each source in alphabetical order according to the author’s last name, or the first word of the title, if there is no author. Make sure each source entry is formatted in MLA style. If you are not sure about the formatting, the Library can help you.
Step 3Make sure the Annotated Bibliography includes all of the following requirements:
Double line spacing throughout the document. No extra line spaces anywhere.MLA style heading at the top left of the first page.Center the title and write it this way: Annotated Bibliography: (title of your Essay 2)Introduction:A first sentence previewing the whole document,A brief discussion of your interest in the topic,A summary of the sources,The research question,Criteria for evaluating sources.Center the word “Sources” before the list.List of sources:Bibliographic entry. Sources are alphabetized by the first word, never numbered.Annotation. 1) What type of source is it? 2) What is it about? 3) Why is it on this list? What makes it credible?Step 4Submit your document as a Google Doc link or Word file.
