* A young woman who joined the industrial workforce during the war 

* A Black man from the south who served as a fighter pilot during the war 

* A man who was seriously wounded while fighting on the front lines 

* A female nurse who served at the front lines 

Write a brief letter to an imagined friend about your experiences. Tell this person about what you did or saw during the war, what you hope to do now, and what types of changes your wartime experiences have brought to your life.
