One pages minimum (over 250 words), Two pages maximum (I stop reading at 2 pages). Anything below 1 page gets 0.

2) Must use Chicago citation style. Here is a webpage on how to cite using Chicago: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/chicago_manual_17th_edition/cmos_formatting_and_style_guide/chicago_manual_of_style_17th_edition.html

Here is a handy video version:

You can also contact our handy Librarian, Information Jason, for help with sources, citations, and all things research.

3) Must use examples from the textbook, lectures, and a primary source in your answer. All three. Any post without examples from all 3 will receive 0. Your post will also cite all 3. Primary sources can be found in the Textbook Reader, module resources, or you can ask Dr.G.

Address the topic/person/event by proving you know about it. Paragraph 1 describes the who, what, where, when, and how of the topic. Define the topic, in other words.

2) The second paragraph describes why this choice should be in the Hall of Fame. You will use several examples to justify why this is a good choice and their impact on American history. You will find this evidence in the lectures, textbook, primary sources, and secondary sources provided in each module.

3) The third paragraph describes why this choice should be in the Hall of Shame. You will use several examples to justify why this was not all good and the negative impact on American history. You will find this evidence in the lectures, textbook, primary sources, and secondary sources provided in each module.

4) You will discuss why this person/event/idea is important to know today by drawing parallels in our own time. For example: Do we see a similar event in recent time that mirrors the Witchcraft Accusations in Salem?
