The first significant philosophy school in the united state was Transcendentalism. Dark Romanticism developed afterward. How does romanticism respond to Transcendentalism? How does dark romanticism either conflict with or support the beliefs of Transcendentalism? Why might Dark Romanticism develop immediately after Transcendentalism? You do not need to answer all these questions or any of these questions. As long as Transcendentalism and Dark Romanticism are being discussed, it is on topic.
