Discuss the normal duration the disease takes, what factors precipitate it, factors that aggravate it, and factors that relieve it. How is the transmission? Talk about statistics, who are predominantly affected- males or females, the very young, the very old, those in contact with animals, etc.
2. Current diagnostic procedures being used to evaluate the condition – If blood tests, what type? Imaging procedures- may include pictures or diagrams of X-rays, MRI, CT scans, Lumbar tap, or any diagnostic procedure to confirm the diagnosis.
3. Current medical management or surgical management. What do they currently do to treat the condition and what is the prognosis or outcome? Is the patient going to be cured, will it become a chronic disease, and will it cause the demise of the patient?
4.
