I chose Yoruba culture. The Yoruba people come from a country in West Africa, Nigeria. It is one of the oldest religions in the world and it is still practiced in the world. The Yoruba are an ethnic group of over 40 million people, inhibiting the southwestern and north central region of Nigeria, as well as Southern and Central Benin. Yoruba people observe so many traditions and have different gods as well. They also have their traditional attires that they were during weddings and other many occasions. I plan on conducting a proper research for my paper and interviewing different Yoruba people who live in the US as well. I will use each weekend to work on my paper.
