Please consult the following document to complete your outline. You should follow this outline as closely as possible. Doing so will ultimately lead you to a great research paper. This file (Research Paper Outline-1.docx.pdf ) is a PDF (not editable). However, I have also linked a google doc version below. You will need to make a copy of this and can then edit that to add your work to the outline. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ocU5ucGegLbqw5QSfvB99yNfFyA1U2l2/view?usp=sharing The expectation for this outline is NOT that you will have it completely filled out with exact quotes from your text and your outside sources. You should continue to add to this outline next week as you work on your paper. For now, please try to complete the outline with a completed thesis and body paragraph topic sentences. Then, add short phrases, key words, etc. for the rest. For example, under topic 1 quote from text, you might just write: Need to find quote about the intimate setting of the home. Or, for commentary, you might write: Link back to the topic of setting and relate to theme of family. If you can at least get this done, it will still make writing your rough draft much easier. This is also the best way for me to catch major errors before you put too much work into writing the paper. With that said, if you do not turn in an outline or it is extremely incomplete, there is not much feedback that I can give. This means, the first real feedback I can give will be on the rough draft and if you are completely off-track, that doesn’t leave much time to fix these major issues. So, keep this in mind when completing this outline.
