HAS TO BE NSW policy related .The report will include a description and analysis of existing state and federal government policies that relate to the support provisions for children with atypical development. Based on this survey and analysis, you are to propose a set of guidelines for new Guidance Officer/Counsellors on how they can best take advantage of the policy and support landscape to best serve their clientele. The report should be referenced in APA 7th style and include a reference list as well as appendices for original research undertaken (e.g. interviews, content analyses, etc.) Recommended structure Feel free to structure the report in any way you like, but here is one suggested structure: 1. Executive Summary – This should summarise succinctly why the report was written and what will be found in the report. Sometimes, this is the only thing that some people will read so it needs to be accurate. 2. Problem Statement –What problem does this report address? Why has it been written? 3. Analysis – Present the relevant policies that relate to the problem and provide an analysis of what they mean to Guidance Officers/Counsellors. In this section, refer to the literature to support your analysis. Consider renaming this section, if you think it makes the report clearer and easier to follow. 4. Guidelines for Guidance Officers/Counsellors – describe what are the best practice options that Guidance Officers/Counsellors should take based on your analysis 5. Conclusion – What is the key message that you want your reader to take away from this report? 6. Reference List – a complete list of literature cited using APA7. 7. Appendix – details of original research (if undertaken) Assessment Criteria You will be assessed on your ability to: 1. Construct a clear, and logical and compelling argument (20%) 2. Interpret and analyse government policies in relation to their impact stakeholders (30%) 3. Incorporate research from appropriate sources into your argument (30%) 4. Use language that is clear, easy to understand and appropriate to the audience. (10%) 5. Reference using APA7 styles (10%).

Use language that is clear, easy to understand and appropriate to the audience. Tone of language is appropriate to audience. Very few errors of grammar and punctuation.
