The reflective journal should be based on an event that happened in my clinical in the past week. I attended a clinical at a cancer hospital and one of the patient i had was a Left above the knee amputee due to cancer. Her husband was at the bedside the whole time. He is the sweetest and caring person I have ever seen and he takes care of her so well. he always let the nurse know about the patient updates and etc. so during the clinical shift the CNA went to give the patient a bedside bath and during that time the radiation people/transportation came to take her to radiation therapy and the patient’s husband got so upset because they came earlier than the usual time and did not let him know that they were coming. And the nurses dealt with the situation professionally, everyone jumped in to help her finish her bath and moved her and all that. That is the only situation that included a family member that I can use in the journal. If not this you can make up a situation. Instructions and rubrics are attached below.Thank you!
