Here is an introductory paragraph from a student who asked if she could write about the process of a dog training a human.  Here is her very strong work – notice she has included all three requirements which are identifying the process, being clear about the advantages of following or learning about the process, and the exact steps for the process.
Choosing and training a human of your own is no easy task.   My humans are very smart and eager to please me, but training them was still a trial.  Now, however, two years since I chose them, they are very well-trained, and I am happy to live with them.   Training humans, though arduous due to a lack of understanding on both sides is quite rewarding, and the methods that work best all center around communication.   Successfully completing these steps will result in a happy, healthy, and fairly obedient dog such as myself as well as an adoring family who consider me not just their best friend but their beloved son and sibling.  Those steps include the following: selecting the humans; making certain the selected family choose you;  being aware that the humans may not yet be as sure of the selection as are you, so proceed accordingly for two days;  adjusting to sleeping arrangements; accepting their rules for relieving yourself; tolerating small children; and, finally, insisting on their following your cuddling, feeding, and walking demands.

Also please use a font no larger than 12 and remember you must have a minimum of 1200 words (approximately 4 full pages).  Indicate the word count at the end of your essay.  Do not space more than double between paragraphs.
