For this second project, I would like you to return to the topic that you proposed in Project 1 and dig into the concepts at play. If you have decided to change topic, that is fine. Moving forward, it will probably be less work for you to have a consistent topic that you have thought through. As you may be coming to appreciate, the processes of conceptualization and operationalization are somewhat demanding. In no more than one page (single-spaced) I would like you to do the following. Please write in full sentences, but this does not need to be in essay format; bullet points are fine.
1. Restate the topic that interests you. (think about what distinguishes the topic as a social research question vs a medical research question)
2. Identify at least one concept related to this topic. Feel free to identify more than one.
3.Explain how you understand the definition of that concept.
4. Provide a description of how this concept could be operationalized.
5. Offer up one exact procedure for collecting data related to this concept.
6. Does this proposed measurement method suffer from any validity or reliability issues?
