Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is for students to opine on the Phoenix Suns Robert Sarver Investigation. Students will discuss this topic, based on the information provided. Along with additional research. Students are required to write in APA format and articulate their research in an organized thoughtful manner.

8–10-page paper not including cover page and citation page

Assignments:

1. Students will write an opinion paper specifically related to the Phoenix Sun investigation and final report (previously provided through BlackBoard).

2. Students provide an overarching opinion about the investigation, how the NBA handled the information from the final report and what other option could have been executed based on the NBA compliance guidelines.

3. Students must defend their opinion by using no less than 8 outside resources to compare other sports incidents related to discrimination (race, gender, religion, etc..) and how they were handled as a final resolution.

4. Students will use the NBA by laws as a guide of options available to the NBA for owner by-law violations.
