1. Choose a movement (preferrably more recent movements or no older than 25 years). There is an exhaustive list of movements on Wikipedia and while typically this is not a good sight for scholarly work, in this case it is a good source for choosing a movement. Your movement does not have to come from the provided list exclusively, this is just a resource), you can use other sources as reference and resources for answering the questions below. 2. Answer the following questions about the movement you have selected. Be sure to provide citations for all sources and include a list of all references at the end of your post. This enrichment assignment is worth a total of 100 points. Be detailed and descriptive.
a. Which movement did you choose, and what interests you about the movement?
b. Discuss the movement in detail, include what is the “big question” or inquiry that the movement is/was trying to answer?
c. What caused the movement to gain or lose momentum? Succeed or fail? From course resources and your own research, what have you learned about what is needed for movements to succeed or what can influence their failure?
d. How does/did this movement either directly or indirectly impact your day-to-day life?
e. What do you see happening in the future for this movement? Any thoughts or insights from the video that you connect to the movement you’ve chosen and what you see possible? Anything you see for yourself and involvement in the movement you selected or other peace work?
