CW11 questions:
1) What is your favorite all time social psychology experiment? Why? What did you learn from it’s results?
2) What are some of your ethical concerns regarding some of the more contentious studies (e.g., Shock study, prison study, etc.)? What would you do differently if you studied those topics now?
3) What are your thoughts on Dr. Rosenthal’s “Pygmalion in the Classroom” study? What do you think teachers can do differently knowing the information provided in that (and subsequent studies)? If you were a teacher, how would you use the information from that study to guide your teaching strategies?
