shows some progression of the use of Information Systems in TV & Film. Part 4 and 5 of this course covered several different types of Information Systems and now you should be able to identify and discuss these types of systems. The following guidelines exist for this assignment:

You should use specific movies or episodes of TV shows that use distinct types of Information Systems.
You’re required to find FIVE (5) instances of DIFFERENT types of Information Systems, examples (not a complete list):
Supply Chain Management
Customer Relationship Management
Enterprise Resource Planning
Decision Support System
Executive Information System
Group Support System
Geographic Information System
Artificial Intelligence
Expert System
Natural-Language Processing
For each of the FIVE (5) Information Systems you select (each one can be one “slide”), you need to:
Classify the Information System (based on the textbook and your understanding). This can be the title of your slide.
Include the NAME of the movie/tv show (a link to IMDB (Links to an external site.) would be great) and the YEAR it came out or aired. It makes most sense to order things by date.
Describe the Information System in context of the movie or TV show episode.
Comment on the accuracy of the system’s portrayal and the use in the movie/show. Include anything you think that was incorrect or should have changed or have been added.
Ideally your selections will span an extended timeframe. For example, a movie and a tv show from the late 90’s (2 ISs), a movie or tv show from the early 2000s (1 IS), 2 recent (within the past 3-5 years) movies or TV shows (2 ISs). You can definitely go further back in time, that was just an example. Concentrate on not only identifying systems but also recognizing inaccuracies or problems with the media’s representation of technology and Information Systems.

I am also confused on what my professor wants…
