Individual Paper/ Presentation (worth 40% of the final grade):
Each student will write a paper and prepare to present to the class. Individual Paper/ Presentation is due on April 13, 2022, and shouldanswer the following questions:
- Create a written problem statement that clarifies the problem (Are we pursuing the right goals? What are the main assumptions – are they true? How would an outsider describe the problem?)
- Discuss research data about the problem
- Identify possible root causes and create a logic tree
- Discuss several promising solutions and then
- Choose your optimal solution and discussThe paper should consist of a minimum of 3 – 5 pages (12 font, double-spaced). The student should also plan a 5-minute presentation with PowerPoint (or a similar format). The presentation should be professional. Individual Paper/presentations should adhere to APA standards.
