Response Paper 4 – Baroque Comparison Instructions.

Hi Folks,

This assignment is a little different (hopefully in a good way).  Below, there are two documents:

“Option 1 for Response Paper 4 – Baroque Comparison” has images of two sculptures – David by Michelangelo (Renaissance) and David by Bernini (Counter-Reformation also known as the Baroque).

“Option 2 for Response Paper 4 – Baroque Comparison” has images of the Sistine Chapel Ceiling by Michelangelo (Renaissance) and David by Bernini (Counter-Reformation also known as the Baroque). 

For this assignment, you will choose either Option 1 or Option 2 and write about the differences between the Renaissance work and the Baroque work. 400 words minimum.  THIS IS NOT A RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT! Just use your powers of observation and write about the differences you see.
