- Read the case study (purchased via link above). Be sure to read all of the information in the case.
- For the essay, please use an essay format, using APA formatting guidelines and using appropriate headings, answer the questions below.
- There are no clear right or wrong answers. A “right answer” is one that is argued logically and is grounded in the information from the case as well as concepts you have learned in class. A “wrong answer” is one that is weak, poorly thought through, or contradicts the information from the case study. Be sure to incorporate concepts that you have learned in class.
Case Study Questions
- As an introduction, provide a brief synopsis of the case study.
- What are Café Cupcake’s successful “ingredients” to date? (What has their success been a result of so far?)
- Overall, what problems or challenges does the company face? And specifically, what HRM challenges does the company face?
- What should the leadership team do to ensure the company’s continued success? Specifically, what is the appropriate sequence of decisions that the partners should make?
