A lab report written in a style similar to a “brief report” in a cognitive psychology professional journal (e.g., Attention, Perception & Psychophysics)
The word limit for the lab report is 1500 words. The report is divided into five sections:
1. Abstract (100 word maximum)
2. Introduction
3. Methods (including subsections detailing participants, materials and experimental procedure)
4. Results
5. Discussion
Word count does not include: reference list, title page, figures, figure captions, tables, table headings, running head, page number, appendices or title page. Word count does include: everything else in the text of the report including in-text citations, headings, and statistics
PDFs attached are relevant sources, they can be replaced if more relevant sources are found. Sources other than the attached should be included.
