A lab report written in a style similar to a “brief report” in a cognitive psychology professional journal (e.g., Attention, Perception & Psychophysics)
The word limit for the lab report is 1500 words. The report is divided into five sections:
1. Abstract (100 word maximum)
2. Introduction
3. Methods (including subsections detailing participants, materials and experimental procedure)
4. Results
5. Discussion
Word count does not include: reference list, title page, figures, figure captions, tables, table headings, running head, page number, appendices or title page.
Word count does include: everything else in the text of the report including in-text citations, headings, and statistics
The attached Word documents go into detail about the experiment and the attached video shows an example of the ATC task the subject performed.
PDFs attached are relevant sources, and should all be included unless more relevant sources are found. Sources other than the attached should be included.
Jamovi (https://www.jamovi.org/) will be needed to analyze the raw data attached, and to check if the data collected is statistically significant.
