| How Basketball Can Save the World: (“RACE”) Students will write a research-based (minimum 12 sources) report five to seven (5-7) pages in length (double or 1.5-spaced, 11 or 12 pt. type) that explores an aspect of society on which basketball has, is or can make positive impact, and why. Students can choose a topic already discussed in class and go more in depth or explore a new topic. See list of pre-approved topics below. Topics must be approved by Professor. Students may cite experiential material in addition to a minimum 12 sources. Professor will also accept the equivalent in an approved multimedia or graphic format. This paper will be due on May 11. |
