Assessment guidelines
Component 1: Models that have been proven effective in the past should be reported in a conference-like presentation or a presentation given to organizational representatives (depending on your choice based on the topics covered so far). In the slides you need to report:
- What interventions have been implemented in the past around the topic? What proved to be successful and what failed?
- What are the recommendations for future research and practice?
Your presentation should not exceed more than 10 minutes when delivered and should contain between 10 and 15 PowerPoint slides with annotated notes.
General Guidance – Important Your assignment should be a PowerPoint processed presentation (handwritten assignments are not accepted), using Times New Roman, with numbered slides. Note this is a presentation supported by academic research so you should adhere to the appropriate referencing guidance. The majority of references should come from primary sources (e.g. journal articles, conference papers, reports, etc.) although you can also utilise area specific textbooks. You must ensure that you use the APA style of referencing. Please indicate the word count length at the end of your assignment. More information and guidelines are provided at the relevant section below.
Structure of your presentation and what you need to report in your slides should follow the format identified below:
