Fundamentals of Weather Midterm

The MidTerm Examination covers topics from the first few lessons of our course. This exam is open notes & open book, and will consist of mostly “explain”, “discuss”, “describe”, “illustrate” types of questions (in other words do not expect “true/false” or “multiple choice” questions).

This exam is designed to assess what you have learned in class so far (not how well you can find answers through google). Do not copy-&-paste any answers or figures from outside sources.

The MidTerm Exam is open-book, open-notes, but closed-classmates (the exam is to be taken individually with no outside assistance from others). You may use the Internet, but you are absolutely prohibited from using any sites where exam answers are provided to you. The deadline for completing the exam is indicated in the Course Schedule.

(Important — Midterm Exam submissions after the deadline will not be accepted).

When writing your exam, include all questions and corresponding point values immediately followed by your answers.

Do not forget to write your name on the front page of the exam (within the statement acknowledgment) — it would be very frustrating to do all that work & get no credit for it. Obviously there is no actual time limit in taking the exam, you just have to get it submitted by the deadline.
