Your essay must include the

theory, criticism and conclusion. Use your textbook ‘Applying Ethics,’ your subject
outline and class discussions for your answers ONLY, NO OUTSIDE SOURCES ARE   ALLOWED.
Prepare to answer the following question as fully and as critically as possible. If
necessary, use examples and criticisms. There is a 500-word minimum. 
3. What is an “imperative” for Kant? What are the types of “imperatives” in his theory of
ethics? What is a hypothetical imperative for Kant and how is it different from his
categorical imperative? Use his second formulation of the Categorical Imperative to
explain why slavery is immoral.
