Faith Ringgold
This Week we take a look at Faith Ringgold, artist, activist, feminist, writer, story
teller and many more things… She currently has a big retrospective show at the New
Museum in New York City. A lot of attention has been given to her lately, and rightfully
so, because for years she had been ignored. She’s been politically active in the art
world and beyond it. She has made radical work and very peaceful work. She has
made paintings, story-quilts, political posters, sculptures, and children’s books.
This is her year, along with Judy Baca –two radical female artists contributing to and
making the world a lot better of a place to live in.
To Do:

enjoy, another short paragraph.
