Two pages need to be written, one for the executive summary and one for the scope of the project. (The scope can be less than a page, but please make sure to make the executive summary longer) These two pages will be included in the final report of the project. The two pages need to be written based on the following: (the following are from reports throughout the project, so please keep in mind when writing that it should be written in the past tense since all the work has been completed):

According to their policy, [company name] needs to update each of their 650+ workstations every 3-4 years. Each of these workstations, in turn, needs to be updated with all the latest and necessary programs, tools, equipment, and applications. This task can prove to be difficult as the team currently managing these workstations comprises of only 8 people. Having a tool that automates all of these necessities can reduce the workload on the team members and provide streamlined workstation automation – hence the purpose of this project. As such, [name] task with this project is to research ten workstation deployment solutions that can provide [company name] within said areas.

The purpose of the chosen top three workstation deployment solutions is to provide [company name] with an automation tool that is easy-to-use and implement, facilitates application and software deployment on [company name] -owned devices and hardware, and overall matches up with the requirements (and their associated metrics) provided by [company name].

This capstone project is overseen and supported by [company name] and [organization name], with [company name] being the main sponsor of the project. Regarding physical operating/testing sites, [organization name] provided [name] with a testing area to assess the three chosen deployment solutions tools in-person.

This report aims to provide guidance on the research methodologies, rationale, and metrics, and results used in [name]’s top 3 chosen workstation solution products. Some of the documents that were used in this research are referenced in the section below and aim to provide direction on how the methodologies were used.

The goal of the [name of project] was to find and research ten workstation deployment/automation solutions that best meet the requirements provided to us by our client, [company name]’s [client name]. Those ten products were then be narrowed down to three, which were then used and simulated in a testing environment provided by [organization name]
