Assignment

For your final essay, I want you to choose a social issue and analyze the impact of the social issue on our modern nationalist identity. Specifically, I want you to present a social issue, explain it, analyze it, fix it, and determine how the issue impacts our national identity. In some cases, your social issue may be changing our national identity rather than solidifying it. In other cases, your social issue may be going against the established national identity. Think critically about your topic and realize that there is no right or wrong answer. Realize that with your scholarly evidence and research, you can support your claims and connections in order to develop a college-level academic essay.
