Dear. Mr. Nam Cho
This is Bo Park from ERAU. We met in front of the school bookstore and you were kind enough to give me your contact information. Thank you very much.
I am currently a Junior in ERAU, working on Aeronautical Science as a major. I am also thinking to take a minor in Airline Management or in Safety. After we talked briefly in front of the bookstore, you got me thinking about my future weather I want to fly in an airline or work for FAA. However, I got some concerns about working in America.
The biggest concern is my citizenship. I am currently holding a South Korean citizenship and willing to have a permanent resident card or a U.S. citizenship in the future. I just have to find the right workplace to support the process in order to work in United States. My first question regarding my concern is does FAA requires an US citizenship? Or do they provide a working VISA?
To ask little more about FAA, I would like to learn more about the main task in aviation safety. I can see that your business card says Aircraft Certification Service. Can you tell me more about what you do at work? I would love to learn.
Also I would love to be involved in any internship in FAA. Do you provide any internship program? I would like to have some experience working with FAA aviation safety.
