The possession, sale, and use of illegal drugs is a problem of epic proportions in the United States. Illegal drugs have shattered many lives, led to suicides and murders, and caused serious health problems in many people. Sections of many American cities where illegal drugs are readily available have become seriously disrupted; where drugs are available, other crimes follow. Illegal drugs, drug addiction, and criminal prosecution and sentencing laws involving illegal drug use are all discussed within the span of the video.

Tell me what you think about the new laws that have been passed in some states that now will legalize marijuana. Do you think this will encourage people to experiment with drugs since they no longer have to fear an arrest for possessing marijuana? Other states are looking at changing existing laws to allow people who are terminally ill to use marijuana that is prescribed by a physician.  What are your thoughts on this issue?
