Discussion Assignment Instructions
The student will complete 4 Discussions in this course. The student will postone thread of at least 400 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned Module: Week. For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least 1 reference from the textbook or the reading for that Module: Week and 1 biblical reference in APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least 1 reference from the textbook or the reading for that Module: Week and 1 biblical reference in APA format.
In addition, you are strongly urged to personalize your discussion entries. The School of Communication & the Arts operates on the foundational belief that all subject matter should relate to your individual lives, your personal vision for your future, and your LAL (Life after Liberty). The instructors are encouraged to give major consideration to those submissions that emphasize a personal link to the subject matter.
Assignment:You’ve been introduced to the ideas of volunteerism and the concept of events as a theatrical event. Now apply these concepts to an event you have either participated in, seen on television or in a movie, or read about. How do volunteers play into the overall event planning experience? What is their value to organizations? How do they add to the drama of an event, and how does giving donors a theatrical experience add to their overall “take” on the event? Answer these questions and add to the discussion by sharing your thoughts on these topics.
