My Informative Speech Topic is: “Discuss the relationship between social media and addiction.

The speech must be “deep enough” that you can find TWO – THREE separate main points to educate the 

audience about AND  fill 6-8 minutes (although an introduction and a conclusion will also be part of that time).  

The speech info you provide should also have a good chance of being of interest and/or of use to your fellow students! 

You will be required to research this topic and use information obtained from these sources. You will have 

to actually orally tell us information that you obtained from a minimum of 3 reputable sources. 

The only caution I would give you is that you will need to CONSTANTLY need to keep your audience at the forefront of your mind while designing the speech, choosing what to leave in or out, which stories/facts to include, etc.

So you should be asking yourself questions like “what are my fellow students probably not aware of?”….”what would they find useful (as social media consumers) to know?”….”what about this situation do they need to have a deeper appreciation of?”.
