Review the topics and email me the topic you wish to cover. This paper is designed to get you more involved in the required readings, search for outside primary sources related to the topic (journals), and expand beyond the scope of general knowledge on the topic of your choice (We will discuss the content requirements in class). (200 pts)
You may use your readings, notes, and outside sources, but you must complete the papers on your own. Your paper will require a combination of factual knowledge, application, and supported speculation. Properly cite all information you gain from ALL sources used to answer your questions, and properly paraphrase the information into your own unique interpretation (do not change a few words here and there or use a thesaurus to rewrite the information—that is still plagiarism). No word for word usage of any kind, including direct quotes—I want to know your interpretation of the material so I know you understand the material. Plagiarism in ANY form will not be tolerated.
Turn it in through the Report Paper tab in Blackboard on or before the due date/time.
Report Paper minimum requirements (make sure to cover each one of these requirements in your paper):
-***Place the PLAGIARISM STATEMENT/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS CHECKLIST FORM TO EVERY PAPER AS THE FIRST PAGE OF THE DOCUMENT. It is available in course documents.***
-Fully address the required material.
-APA style (use the APA style help links in course documents) (no first person, no contractions…).
-No less than 1500 words of material within the body of the assignment (titles, abstracts, tables, figures, references, etc. do not count)— (you can and probably should go beyond 1500 words).
-12pt Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New, or similar font. No script, bold, or italicized font in the text.
-1-inch margins all the way around the page.
-Proper APA style in-text citations and APA style reference page—see course documents for APA help.
-Properly paraphrase all information with APA style in-text citations, references, and no word for word of any kind (including previously turned in material for this or any other class). It is the only way I truly know that you know the material if you can put it completely in your own words, while still citing. Any 4-word string of word for word or more will not count in your paper’s page length or content to be graded. Major violations may be turned in to the Academic Integrity Committee.
-Use research support and provide details when answering these questions for your papers. Do not use Wikipedia, any encyclopedia, dictionary, undergraduate textbook, or any other unedited source. Ask me if you are not sure on your source.
