I want you to consider what you have learned about the ways in which discourses of race have been historically embedded and continue to affect current media narratives. In your response do the following:
1) Discuss what you have learned from your readings and our discussions of them using references from at least two texts (choose from Said, Harris, Moody-Ramirez, Byrd, hooks, and Yu) Select texts or concepts that you have not discussed at length in other assessments. ie. the essay.
2) Apply the concepts to an example of media to support your discussion.
