Crime of Insanity Writing Assignment

Using what you have learned about competency to stand trial and the legal concept of insanity, write a brief response to the following questions:

(1) What aspects of the case suggest that Ralph was NOT competent to stand trial?

(2) Why do you think the jury sided with the prosecution and found Ralph to be legally sane?
