Your My Professional Profile project will include a series of posts on various topics, a professional growth plan, mission and vision statements, as well as additional resources for the start of a professional library. Using sources from the Walden Library, this course, and additional outside sources, locate information to support the four (4) components of your My Professional Profile project.

• Review your professional media and library professional profile to ensure it includes the following areas:
  • My Professional Growth Plan
    • Background and experiences that prompted your interest in and growing commitment to P–12 teaching and learning (2 Paragraphs)
    • Explanation as to why you have enrolled in the MSED program, including who and/or what inspired you to do so (2 Paragraphs)
    • Weblink to an artifact from your professional practice that exemplifies your definition of an education professional (Note: Be sure to provide an annotation for your website viewers.)
  • My Professional Mission and Vision
    • Professional Mission and Vision statements to describe your goals as an educational professional and an agent of change in your educational environment
    • My Professional Thought Pieces
      • One post on a P–12 teaching and learning issue related to challenges within your own school setting
      • One post on the topic of teacher well-being in today’s educational environment
      • One post on your plan to have an impact on positive social change
      • Note: Each post should be 3- to 4- paragraphs or no more than 6 minutes of video (appropriate for the medium that you choose) and should be a reflective piece that takes a position, poses questions, and/or shows multiple perspectives on the selected P-12 education issue and cites using appropriate resources.
  • My Professional Library
    • Module 4 Colleague Share video with an annotation that explains the content and context for your professional profile project viewers
• Submit your Final Project by creating a Word document that includes a brief explanation of your professional profile, a link to the site of your professional profile, and a reference page.
